The Tubing trips are in two areas depending on water levels. We decide which section is used for safety.
#8 to #11 is the higher water section with little riffles and ledges for the whole trip. Takes 3 to 4 hr depending on water levels.
#16 to #19 is the deeper water section for the lower water levels. This trip goes thru Compton’s Rapid. Takes 4 to 5 hr.
Shenandoah River Outfitters offers more than just tubing. We offer canoe, kayak and raft rentals. Our trips are in beginner flat water with small riffles and also beginner whitewater with several ledge drops and Compton's rapid that has 1 to 2 foot waves.
